VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT
To provide a place of life for Christians from all walks, a place for rest and recreation and holding seminars and courses relating to the development of their work.

To make the facility cost effective and thus render it an asset rather than a liability to ACK.
The Centre will assist in the propagation of the gospel by contributing towards the budget of the Province.
 A BRIEF HISTORY
Built in 1951 by Sir Michael and Lady Susan Wood, founder of the Flying Doctor Service, it began as a dairy farm.

St Julian's Centre was bought in 1979 by the ACK from Community of Sisters of St. Julian's of England after they decided to return to their country. Since then the Centre has been used by the Church as a training facility.

The Centre is open to church institutions and Church related organizations to hold seminars and courses. It is also a place of rest and recreation for individuals and families.

The challenge for the Centre is to make it a viable Institution of the Anglican Church of Kenya, while continuing to offer services to the ACK and other Church institutions and Church related organizations.

  FACILITIES
St. Julian's Centre offers a quiet and serene place to set your own pace; offering overnight accommodations, meals, and meeting places away from the hustle of the city. Near enough to Nairobi (27 km) for easy access even for day events and retreats, but in the cool green highlands of Kenya.
The main house is elegant, built in the villa style with a large lounge and library, both with fireplaces, intimate and ready for meetings, conversations, resting, or reading.
Hold your small meeting or workshop in these wonderfully warm rooms or in our new Powell Hall which can accommodate up to 30 complete with TV, video and chartboard. Or you may prefer to meet in our Chapel which sits 50.
There are seven beautifully decorated bedrooms with all new, tiled bathrooms.

Three cottages offer secluded privacy. The "honeymoon banda" is most wonderful for anniversaries, etc. The other cottages offer a safari
atmosphere. There is also a youth hostel for up to 10 young adults.
Strikingly manicured grounds with lush plants, trees, and flowers invite quiet strolls; or a game of volleyball, badminton, or table tennis.
Dine inside or in the courtyard. the atmosphere is relaxed with professionally prepared breakfast buffet, tasty lunch or three course dinners.
We serve up to sixty for special events and meetings. Tea is served promptly at ten and four, complete with cakes, cookies, and other specialties.
