Archbishop on Episcopal Visit to Nairobi Diocese

The Archbishop of Kenya, the Most Rev. Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit is this week on an official visit to the ACK Diocese of Nairobi. He is hosted by the Diocesan Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Joel Waweru; Vicar General -Very Rev. Canon Paul Kariuki, Diocesan Administrative Secretary Ven Canon Geoffrey Okapisi Archdeacons, and the respective parochial Vicars. During the 5 day tour, the Archbishop will fellowship and pray with Christians in various Parishes and institutions across the Diocese.

On the first day of the visit today, the Archbishop was in the Cathedral, Lang’ata, and Westland Archdeaconries.  He first joined Christians, parents and pupils of ACK St. Veronica and St. Veronica pre-school for a joint service at the ACK St. Veronica in the City’s South B area. The Archbishop’s entourage then headed to ACK St. Mathew’s Karen Hardy, ACK Good Shepherd Lang’ata, St. Martins KIA and finally ACK St. Martin’s Kabete.

On Wednesday- Tomorrow, the Archbishop will visit Kasarani, Githurai and Zimmerman Archdeaconries.

On Thursday, The Archbishop will be in Embakasi, Ruai, Cathedral and Kayole Archdeaconries.

On Friday, the Archbishop will be in Kayole, Dandora and Pumwani Archdeaconries.

To climax the Visit, the Archbishop will on Sunday Join the Congregation at the ACK St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Jogoo Road for the Cathedral’s Centenary service and Celebrations.
