ADS REGIONS
ADS PWANI
Anglican Development Services-Pwani (ADS Pwani) is the development arm of the Anglican Church of Kenya, serving the dioceses of Mombasa, Taita Taveta and Malindi. The region covers 6 Counties namely: Mombasa, Kwale, Lamu, Taita/Taveta, Kilifi and Tana River. ADS Pwani is a faith-based organization in the service of God’s people through developmental interventions aimed at improving the quality of life. ADS Pwani is registered as a Company limited by guarantee, governed by a board of Directors drawn from the three dioceses. All the projects are undertaken based on the greatest need towards poverty alleviation as informed by socio-economic indicators, always with the disposition of love and respect for God and His people. Current programs include food security, livestock management, WASH, Health, environment, disaster risk reduction and emergency response, Church and Community mobilization and Peace building.
ADS EASTERN
Anglican Development Services Eastern (ADSE) is the development arm of the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK), Dioceses of Machakos, Kitui, Makueni and Garissa with its headquarters at Wamunyu, Machakos. Administratively, these Dioceses fall under Machakos, Kitui, Makueni, Garissa Counties respectively. ADSE has had operations in these counties since 1987 as Ukamba Christian Community Services (UCCS) until 2014 when it rebranded to Anglican Development Services Eastern (ADSE). The vision of the organization is to empower communities to enjoy secure and sustainable livelihoods. Guided by our 5-year strategic plan (2015-20), our Developmental goal is to facilitate communities to realize secure livelihoods characterized by adequate food supply, potable water, stable incomes, good health, and resilience to climate change, child protection, and Mainstreaming issues of disability, HIV/Aids and gender. Our strength lies in our community-based expertise, our independence and neutrality and use of participatory processes based on Christian principles. We work to improve living conditions as partners in development, and in response to disasters. We persuade decision-makers to act at all times in the interests of vulnerable people. As a result, we enable healthy, safe and stable communities, reduce vulnerabilities and strengthen resilience.
ADS NAIKA
Anglican Development Services Nairobi, Kajiado and All Saints Dioceses (ADS NAIKA) is the social development arm of the Anglican church of Kenya for the Dioceses of Nairobi, All Saints and Kajiado. It offers Christian Community Services (CCS) through 5 institutions; St John’s Community Centre Pumwani in the diocese of Nairobi, St Nicholas Community Development Centre in the diocese of All Saints, the Urban Development Program in Kayole Nairobi, The Maasai Rural Training Centre and a Community Based Health Care Program in the diocese of Kajiado.
ADS NYANZA
ADS–Nyanza is a church organization founded in 1995 and registered as a company in 1997, to enhance holistic human transformation and development of community, as envisaged in the scriptures (John 10:10). The organization operates under the guise of all ACK Dioceses in Nyanza region, namely Bondo, Southern Nyanza, Maseno South, Maseno East and Maseno West. The Diocese of Southern Nyanza covers the Kisii Area Bishopric that covers Kisii and Nyamira Counties.
ADS WESTERN
ADS Western serves 6 dioceses namely Maseno North, Mumias, Nambale, Butere, Katakwa and Bungoma within the four counties of Kakamega, Bungoma, Busia and Vihiga in western region. We envision Self-reliant communities, in which participating rural communities have sustainable socio-economic development in Western Kenya through accelerated and effective implementation of community development programs and the establishment of effective institutional framework for capacity enhancement of the communities.
An integrated approach is used to implement the desired strategies with special focus on strengthening the capacity of local community structures to effectively participate in their own development using the participatory approaches for sustainable development in western region, targeting the rural communities including the vulnerable and the marginalized like; women, men, and youth. To achieve this, we execute our programs through Advocacy, Rights based approach (RBA), Capacity Enhancement, Strategic Alliances and Establishment of community structures.
ADS MT. KENYA
ADS-Mt. Kenya is the Development arm of five Anglican Dioceses of Mt. Kenya South, Thika, Murang’a South, Mt. Kenya Central and Mt. Kenya West. The regional Secretariat is based in Nyeri Town, at Bishop Chipman House on the 2nd Floor. Administratively, it serves the counties of Laikipia, Nyeri, Meru, Murang’a, Kiambu, Kajiado and Nairobi. It aims at enhancing wholesome and dignified living by integrating and. Promoting adoption of sustainable ecological principles and practices into rural communities’ livelihoods to empower them to make informed choices while improving and prospering their livelihoods.
ADS Kt. Kenya’s Strategic focus areas include Food security and resilience to Impacts of climate change; Health water, sanitation and Hygiene (WASH); Livelihoods and organizational Development.
ADS MT. KENYA EAST
The Anglican Development Services (Mt. Kenya East) is the Development arm of the Anglican Church serving the Dioceses of Marsabit, Meru, Mbeere and Kirinyaga. These are the administrative counties of Marsabit, Isiolo, Kirinyaga, Embu, Meru, and Tharaka Nithi.
Our Focus areas are in: Food Security, Water and sanitation and Hygiene, Environmental management and Organizational development.
ADS CENTRAL RIFT
ADS Central Rift Covers the 3 Dioceses of Nakuru Nyahururu and Maralal. ADS Central Rift Covers the following counties; Nakuru, Samburu, Baringo, Laikipia West, and Nyandarua counties. The principle work of ADS CR is to promote and facilitate development within marginalized small-scale farmers. ADS CR currently implements integrated projects in the following sectors; Integrated Livelihoods; Health and HIV/AIDS; Agriculture and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). Our Strategic themes are Livelihoods Development, Health and Integrated Disaster Risk Reduction. We also have other themes that are cross cutting and include Gender, Governance, Advocacy, Church Development Capacity Building. Each of these strategies is interrelated in both impact (success in one strategy will positively impact success in other strategies) and the interventions required to achieve sustainable success.
ADS NORTH RIFT
The Anglican Development Services (North Rift) is the Development arm of the Anglican Church serving the Dioceses of Kapsabet, Eldoret, Kitale and the Lodwar and Kapenguria Missionary areas. These are the Administrative counties of Nandi, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Trans Nzoia, Turkana and West Pokot.
Our Focus areas are in the areas of: Food Security, Water and sanitation, Health, Disaster Risk Management, Advocacy and Economic Empowerment
ADS SOUTH RIFT
ADS South Rift Serves as the Development Arm of the Diocese of Kericho. It operates through the following programs:

- Compassion programs
- Famers’ Field Schools
- Kericho Community Development Trust
- Church and Community Mobilization Process
